Overnight stay on route to airport.

Comfortable room with plenty of space. Good parking. Location convenient for access to airport road. Breakfast offered varied options.

Nothing to complain about though rooms could do with some updating.

The first 2 days brakefast was ok, but having the same menu through the entire week it became a little bit frustrating.

Very beautiful Garden, beautiful hotel, it has the sauna and pool outside. Nice room, good location. There is underground parking also

The only thing we did not like That much was breakfast. All the hot dishes, for example, sausages, omelet, eggs was absolutely disgusting for me. It had really strange taste. But I did like the bread with butter, ham and vegetables, so I could make a sandwich myself. And fruits!! they were very delicious. My husband didn’t like the coffee, it also had cheap strange taste

The location is ideal for people with a car. Always enough parking spots, close to Funchal but also all other ways to the other parts of the island.

Great staff and pool, but hotel needs major renovation

Excellent and very friendly staff, fantastic rooftop pool. Great location if you want to explore the whole island. Excellent breakfast buffet with fresh fruit every day

Hotel need a massive update. Lots of peeling paint, no good light in bathroom and airconditioning did not work. Sunbeds near pool were not very comfy

Good but needs maintenance.

The hotel is close to a highway, a grocery store and restaurants and a short drive from the main city, Funchal. There is plenty of parking space and we also liked the pool and sauna.

The hotel is maintained poorly. The signs can be seen everywhere, from damaged walls, furniture and even a sauna. The AC in the room did not work, the same goes for Wi-Fi.

Okay, not a five star rating but a very nice hotel to stay for a week

We stayed for a week in Hotel Quinta. Of course it's a bit out dated but you get good quality and value for money. The room is good and clean. The bed sure is fine and a good size. We had a little fridge in the room. Nice view from our balcony. Breakfast is what you expect and more. Fresh fruit every morning (banana pineapple, melon, watermelon, orange). A selection of scrambled eggs, fried eggs, bacon and sausage. Yoghurt, croissants, sweets, cake and applepie. Tomato, cucumber and salad. Every day the cook prepared something extra. Top that off with a very friendly staff, clean pool and that made that we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The heart of Funchal at a 15 minutes drive is perfect if you don't want to stay in the busy centre of the city.

We missed a watercooker but we survived that. ......

Wonderful

Beautiful architecture. The facility is simply beautiful. Very helpful staff. Swimming pool, sauna available for guests. Tasty breakfasts

No fridge in the room unfortunately, and no tea pot. The walls need some touch-ups here and there.

Comfortable hotel

Beautiful view, the garden is amazing, pool and sauna made our stay. The beds were amazing!! Super big and comfortable beds.

The coffee at breakfast! Instant coffee unfortunately. The only thing I would love differently!

great location, clean rooms with beautiful views, good breakfast and nice sauna/pool with views.

the location was great, although it was a bit hard to find at first. the views were spectacular, the enjoyed the sauna and the pool, the breakfast was also ok and the staff was very attentive and responsive.

sauna and pool have a schedule from 8:00 - 20:00 and with us being out most of the day exploring and hiking, it was hard to make it back on time to use the sauna, which has a factor when we chose this hotel but only got to use it once because of the schedule.

Great 3 star hotel, could be made 4 star with just few minor improvements.

Breakfast was exceptional, always freshly made eggs, bacon, selection of cheeses and hams, vegetables, selection of fruits, cereals, sweets. Private parking on the property. Large swimming pool, sauna included in price, pool bar with snacks, very nice hotel restaurant with seatings in the garden. Spacious rooms with balcony.

They should buy a coffee machine which makes real coffee, not the Nespresso which tastes like chocolate. Would be nice if there was a small fridge in the rooms. The furniture and room doors are quite old and make squeaking noise when opening/closing. If you have low profile car, do not try to park in the underground garage, the way in/out is very steep and you will scratch the front bumper. Park in front of reception instead.

Definitely worth its money. The venue and the view was beautiful, the staff was friendly.

The location is great. Close to the supermarket, lots of parking spaces around and at the facility. The breakfast was also good, a lot of different fruit. The downside was that it was completely the same the whole week and that coffee is from a machine. We also enjoyed the sauna and the pool.

The rooms are spacious, breakfast was good, not awesome.

Comfy and chique hotel

Perfect stay in a beautifull appartment just outside of Funchal, very friendly staff (especcially the lovely girl from the reception) and comfy beds. The hotel has a perfect swimmingpool, sauna and delicious restaurant. There is even a parking garage under the hotel. Highly recommended!

there was a little leakage in the corridor and in the room are to less power points for elektric.

parking lots in front of the hotel (if ever full, there is also public parking nearby), bathtub, breakfast exceptional, they had pool and sauna. Beds comfortable and different kinds of pillows. Bars, restaurants and huge supermarket nearby.

peaceful atmosphere despite high season; lovely pool area; old but charming property and rooms; beautiful garden; basic

charming colonial style building where breakfast was served; the pool was fresh and enjoyed its surroundings; nice garden and greenery; friendly breakfast lady; very quiet and relaxed atmosphere; fresh air (could sleep with balcony door open without needing AC); the views are ok (gorgeous overlooking the sea but the large supermarket and road on the other side); convenient indoor parking (be prepared for steep hills though)

the property is oldish, definitely seen its best days but still without being shabby; very few services available at the hotel (e.g no bottled water available for purchase, no minibar, no fridge in the room - so no possibility of a cold drink in the room or by the pool even if there’s a big supermarket just across the street which unfortunately does not have many chilled drinks either); small ants in the room which however were not much of a nuisance except if leaving fruits on the table

Overall hotel service excellent I will visit a gain

I really liked the rooms because I was able to access my kids. Breakfast was excellent the lady served us breakfast had good customer service and she was approachable. The location of the hotel excellent in quiet environment and friendly neighbourhood. I enjoyed sauna all receptionist very kind and ready to help they made me feel at home they were all brilliant very kind friendly and willing to help. I really recommend this hotel the sea view to all rooms perfect. Swimming pool very clean. I like the supper maket

No fridge in the room small fridge can make a difference No iron + ironing board Air conditioning was not working on hot days we failed to sleep We had a problem with one of the toilet but was fixed No kettle in the room but when we asked for it the receptionist provided it I don't remember her name but she was fantastic and all other receptionist helped us with ice any time we need ice. On our last day we saw a cockroach which made us jump. Food a bit expensive my advise pay before you travel Gym not open
